Interactive Syllabus AQA- Physics 4403

In the past my students have found these 'interactive syllabuses' useful.

I copy the wording of the syllabus into a table and then add links to relevant areas of my site for you to jump to background reading on the topics covered.

There are past paper examination questions on this site, together with solutions and comments on how to tackle questions, but remember that everytime a syllabus changes there can be changes as to how examiners award marks, sometimes the focus of a question changes with syllabus changes! The best strategy is to always answer as fully as you can using keywords from the syllabus you are studying..

Quote: "The subject content of this specification is presented in five sections:

How Science Works

Physics 1, ■ Physics 2, ■ Physics 3

■ and the Controlled Assessment.

It is intended that the How Science Works content is integrated and delivered not only through the Controlled Assessment but also through the context of the content of Physics 1, Physics 2 and Physics 3."

This means that the vocabulary related to How Science Works will permeate the questions in the examination. You need to know and understand those terms.

This site has a section on How Science Works. Read it! It is written for teachers, but you students need to know what your teacher is trying to instil in your brains... and why....

UNDERSTANDING THE CONTEXT OF QUESTIONS HELPS YOU TO UNDERSTAND WHAT AN EXAMINER IS LOOKING FOR.
